“Holy Hetradine!”

TFNation 2019 is GO, and the staff are no doubt working fervently behind the scenes to bring us another fantastic convention. Also working hard are the actors, writers and creative talents behind our favourite franchise, and one of the first to commit his time to our entertainment is the legendary Gregg Berger! The extra “g” stands for “ME GRIMLOCK!”

Gregg will be appearing at TFNation in Birmingham (England) on the 16th-18th August this year. Providing perhaps the most imitable voice of any Transformers character, Gregg’s gravelly exclamations prompted millions of children in the eighties to stomp around the house and annoy their parents with shrill cries and protestations in a caveman-like vocabulary. Of course, we never truly grew up, so now millions of adults annoy their wives and husbands by stomping around the house crying “Me Grimlock no do dishes! Me Grimlock king!”

Gregg also provided the voice of Jetfire and Long Haul in the original animated series. We’ll forgive you if you didn’t know that, as Jetfire was quickly dropped from the cast (last time we saw him, he was entombed under the arctic ice) and Long Haul rarely spoke. He’s shy.
